Why should I hire a pet sitter?
Your pet remains in a familiar, secure environment where all the sights, smells, and sounds are familiar.
They will continue their normal diet and exercise routine.
They will not be traumatized by travel in a vehicle or experience being left in an unfamiliar place.
Your pet receives love and personalized attention while you are away.
Most importantly, your pet will not risk illness or injury, both of which are risks of being in a kennel or boarding facility.
You won't be inconvenienced or upset by taking your pet to a kennel.
You don't have to impose upon a friend, neighbor or relative - someone who is not bonded and insured.
Your home is made more secure by the crime-deterring measures we provide.
You can utilize other special services we offer free of charge - such as watering plants & bringing in mail.
You can leave home with the confidence that your pet and home are in capable, professional, caring hands.
What is your service area?
We provide service to most areas in Chambersburg, Fayetteville, Scotland, and Mont Alto. If your home is not in our service area, please contact us to discuss your needs.

Can I contact you while I'm gone?
Absolutely! Your client portal is the quickest way to reach us, but you may also call, text, email or message us on Facebook anytime. We'll do our best to respond in a timely manner. During our initial meeting we will explain your new client account in detail. After every visit you'll receive a report card with photos and what we did during our visit. Our clients LOVE this about Perky Paws!

We care for:
Dogs - all sizes and breeds, no restrictions
Small animals (hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, flying squirrels)
Large animals (farm)

Do you have references?
Yes, we have references available upon request. We also have many reviews on multiple platforms.
How much time do you spend with my pet?
Our dog walking visits are available in 20 minute and 30 minute increments.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We presently accept all major credit cards, cash or check. You will receive an invoice in your Client Portal, which can be paid via the portal, or leave payment on the counter for us to pick up at our first visit. A receipt will be available in your account.
Do you charge extra to administer medication?
If medication is administered as part of a pet care visit, there is no additional charge for pilling, transdermal, inhalers or injections.
Do you work holidays?
Yes, we book appointments on holidays, however we do have a holiday fee of $10 per day on major holidays. These include New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
